After a few snow showers in places last night, there will be a few icy patches around during the morning.
It will be a cold start across the UK, with an added chill from the wind.
Through the day it will be mainly dry and bright, except for the odd shower here or there.
Eastern parts of the UK will have the best of the dry and bright weather, but in the west it will begin to cloud over through the day, and parts of Northern Ireland and western Scotland will see rain by the afternoon.
