Cars overturned as huge tornado tears through Italian city of Crotone

Stunning footage of a tornado tearing through an Italian city has been captured.

The terrifying storm left destruction in its wake in the southern Italian city of Crotone on Sunday, with buildings left damaged, trees uprooted and cars overturned.

Italian media reports a shopping centre sustained serious damage.
