In Pictures: Carnival revellers turn Notting Hill into a human rainbow

Revellers returned to west London on Monday for the second day of the Notting Hill Carnival and were treated to better weather after the weekend washout.

The mood was upbeat although there was a pause to remember the victims of the blaze at Grenfell Tower, which is near the route.
