West Ham's London Stadium to host two Major League Baseball matches next year

West Ham's London Stadium will host two Major League Baseball Games next year.

The former Olympic Stadium will need re-configuring as a baseball field for the first MLB regular season games to be played in Europe.

New York Yankees will face rivals Boston Red Sox on June 29 and 30 in front of an estimated crowd of 55,000.

London Mayor Sadiq Khan launched the London Series alongside Red Sox owner John W Henry - who also owns Liverpool - and Yankees chief Hal Steinbrenner in London on Tuesday.
