Customers of phone network Three report problems making calls and sending texts
The mobile network Three have said the issues customers have been experiencing with making/receiving calls should now be resolved.
Hundreds of disgruntled customers took to social media on Saturday to complain that the service was down.
Many also expressed outrage that the outage comes days after the news that Three is putting up its prices.
Others reported issues that texts were being sent to the wrong people.
The phone company initially said it did not know when the problems would be resolved and that it was "working on getting it sorted" and advised customers to keep an eye on its Twitter feed for information.
However, the company says the technical problems should now be resolved and posted on Twitter that customers should try restarting their phones.
A Three spokesman told ITV News on Saturday: "We are currently investigating a network issue affecting sending and receiving text messages and making calls. We apologise for any inconvenience caused. Please be assured we are working to resolve this and will provide an update as soon as we have one."
