Wales flanker Warbuton set to captain British and Irish Lions
Wales back row Sam Warburton will be the British and Irish Lions captain on their tour of New Zealand.
The Welsh flanker made two appearances for the Lions on their last trip to the Southern Hemisphere in 2013, where he was also captain.
Warburton will become just the second person to lead the Lions on two separate tours, following in the footsteps of Martin Johnson.
World Rugby CEO Brett Gosper has also tweeted that Wales back row Warburton will captain the British and Irish Lions.
The Cardiff Blues player was pictured earlier on Wednesday posing in his full Lions kits, further fuelling the speculation that he will be made captain.
The full squad will be announced at 1200BST on Wednesday 19 April.
