Bournemouth's Tyrone Mings has been handed a five-match ban for violent conduct by the Football Association after standing on Zlatan Ibrahimovic's head in the Premier League match against Manchester United on Saturday.
The Swedish striker was himself banned for three matches earlier this week, after he accepted a charge for elbowing Mings in retaliation.
Mings' employer quickly released a statement in support of their player, citing his previous good behaviour and character.
