Lille appoint Bielsa as new head coach

Ligue 1 side Lille have appointed former Marseille and Athletic Bilbao boss Marcelo Bielsa as their new head coach.

The Argentine will take up the role from the summer, with his contract beginning on July 1.

Bielsa has signed a two-year contract with the Ligue 1 club.

Bielsa is well known for his intense methods and high energy style of play. He has earned the nickname 'El Loco' (The Crazy One) due to his managerial style.
