Weather: Freezing fog in central and southern regions

There will be some dense freezing fog patches to start the day across many central and southern areas and some of this fog may persist for much of the day.

Elsewhere, after a cold and frosty start, it will stay dry throughout the day with some bright or sunny spells, but turning breezier and cloudier across the far northwest later.
