Travel Photographer of the Year winners announced
From a magical snow-swirled New York street scene to a fiery festival in Spain, the winning images in the Travel Photographer of the Year (TPOTY) awards have been revealed.
Joel Santos was crowned the overall winner, beating photographers from 123 countries to scoop the prestigious award.
His winning entry features a delicate and intimate portfolio depicting fishing life in Ghana.
Photographers from 20 countries won individual awards, with the Young Travel Photographer of the Year awarded to 14-year-old Darpan Basak from India.
Courtney Moore, 18, and Ankit Kumar, 13, also claimed junior prizes.
The winning entrees will be on display in Hull from May 18 to June 30, and in London from August 4 to September 3.
