X Factor's Honey G left shaken after stage invasion

X Factor contestant Honey G was visibly shaken when a man ran on stage as she waited for the judges' feedback on Saturday night's live show.

The controversial act was waiting to hear what the show's mentors thought of her performance of MC Hammer's U Can't Touch This when the stage was invaded as Louis Walsh spoke.

Although only one man seemed to make it onto the stage, Dermot O'Leary described the stage invaders as "three punks".

The Metropolitan Police confirmed to ITV News that they had been called to a disturbance at Fountain Studios, Wembley, but no arrests had been made.

A group of online pranksters called Trollstation are believed to be behind the stunt.

Head judge Simon Cowell got up to check Honey G was alright as the man was escorted from the stage by security.

Louis Walsh attempted to carry on as if nothing was happening, but Nicole Scherzinger and Sharon Osbourne jumped to their feet in surprise.

Cowell said: "I thought that was part of the act for a moment. That's what you create, people go crazy for you. You've got a second song to come, don't let that throw you."

Her mentor Sharon Osbourne said: "Your fans want to touch you, even more so when they're not allowed to."

Honey G looked upset by the incident and appeared to be struggling to concentrate on the judges' comments.

Host Dermot O'Leary said: "Obviously we had a stage invasion, three punks thought they could come on and take on Honey G, but could they?"

She replied: "I don't think so."

X Factor denied suggestions the stage invasion was a stunt and said five people had been ejected from the studio.

A spokeswoman said: "There was a stage invasion by four men, with one further person in support. All five had been in the audience.

"They were spoken to by police and security and have now been removed from the studio."
