Man United striker Wayne Rooney: I deserve more respect

England captain Wayne Rooney has described the reaction his late night drinking as "disgraceful".

The Manchester United forward was pictured out until 5am last weekend, which has seen him criticised by many.

Some have questioned whether he will continue as captain of the national team.

Rooney was left on the bench for United's draw with Arsenal on Saturday, but spoke afterwards about the incident at the England team hotel.
