Workers at Fujitsu set to strike over gender pay gap
Hundreds of workers at Fujitsu are expected to take part in a 48-hour strike in a dispute over pensions, pay, and job security.
Members of Unite at the IT giant's offices in Manchester will stay out until Wednesday morning, following a strike earlier this month.
The union also claims that Fujitsu is not doing enough to tackle a gender pay gap within the company, saying that on average, women are paid 16% less than men.
Unite regional officer Sharon Hutchinson said: "Our members have demonstrated the seriousness of their intent and more industrial action is on the cards, if the company continues to treat them with disdain."
