Toure apologises to Man City boss for agent comments
Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure has finally apologised to manager Pep Guardiola for the actions of his agent.
Toure's representative Dimitri Seluk has been highly critical of the Manchester City boss since his arrival this summer.
The Ivorian midfielder has featured in the league all season, playing just once in the Champions League win over Steaua Bucharest.
Seluk previously said: "Pep is allowing his ego to make decisions that aren't in the best interests of Manchester City."
He has also stated that Guardiola has "humiliated" his client this season by not playing.
Toure will hope the apology may allowed him to be re-integrated into the first team picture.
Guardiola confirmed in his press conference ahead of Middlesbrough visit that he had chatted with the Ivorian regarding the matter.
"I spoke with Yaya today, of course it’s a private conversation. It’s good news for Man City."
