X Factor: Gifty Louise booted off in fourth week of live shows

Gifty Louise became the fourth act to be booted of the X Factor tonight.

The London events manager lost the judges' vote after ending up in the sing-off against girl group Four Of Diamonds.

Nicole, Sharon, and Louis voted to save Four Of Diamonds, who were also in the bottom two last week.

Simon Cowell voted to save his own act and admitted he had made the wrong song choice for the 20-year-old.

He said: "It was my mistake. I should never have given you that song.

"You should never have been out of the competition at this point.

"It's not you, it's me."

Gifty sang I'm In Love With A Monster, which is by Simon's US group Fifth Harmony.

It was Gifty's second time on the X Factor having lost her voice at last year's Bootcamp stage.

At the end of the show O'Leary spun the X Factor jukebox for next week's theme and it landed on Boyband vs Girlband.
