A dry end to the month
It's looking to stay dry into the weekend for many of us - and it's no surprise that it's been a remarkably dry start to autumn. This October is looking like one of the driest since 1978.
There'll be a lot of cloud to end the week with the best of the autumn sunny spells across Scotland, the north of England, Northern Ireland and south-east England. Thicker cloud will mean a little patchy rain and drizzle for parts of Wales.
Temperatures will be a little above average for the time of year - for the time being!
