Nine killed and 30 injured after Bali bridge collapse
Nine people have died and 30 others have been injured after a bridge connecting islands off the coast of Bali collapsed.
Police said the collapse occurred due to too many people crossing the bridge at one time to attend a religious ceremony.
The Yellow Bridge which links the Indonesian islands of Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Ceningan collapsed at 6.30pm local time on Sunday.
Initial reports suggest that none of the victims are said to be foreigners.
The bridge, which is around 100 metres long is used by pedestrians and motorcyclists.
