Bald eagle stuck in car grill after trying to cross road
A driver had a shock when he discovered a bald eagle lodged in the grill of his car.
The motorist in Florida was driving when the bird of prey flew in front of him and - unable to avoid the animal - got the eagle stuck in their grill.
Clay County Sheriff's Office said that fire services were deployed to safely pry the bald eagle from the car's grill.
When it was eventually dislodged the eagle was taken to a wildlife sanctuary for treatment
"The bird is alive and was turned over to the B.E.A.K.S. Wildlife Sanctuary. Great Job by all involved," Clay County Sheriff's Office wrote on Facebook.
