Singer Craig David has secured his first number one album in 16 years with his latest work called 'Following My Intuition'.

David's debut album, 'Born To Do It', topped the charts in 2000 - and sold seven million copies around the world.

He became a figure of fun, thanks to comedian Leigh Francis' caricature of the star, and faded into relative obscurity before making a successful comeback with his sixth album.

David said having another number one album so many years after the first one was "surreal".

This week's top five albums are listed below:

  • Following My Intuition - Craig David

  • 22, A Million - Bon Iver

  • My Universe - The Shires

  • Keep Me Singing - Van Morrison

  • A Moon Shaped Pool - Radiohead
