Amanda Holden rushes to sister's bedside after car crash left her in intensive care

Amanda Holden has rushed to her sister Debbie's bedside after a car crash left her in intensive care.

The Britain's Got Talent judge was keeping a vigil for her 44-year-old sibling after being told she was fighting for her life.

Holden learned of the news on Thursday morning hours after attending Simon Cowell's 57th birthday party.

Holden, 45, was quoted as saying she was in "absolute agony" as she is "very close to her sister".

Diving instructor Debbie is still in hospital in Cornwall but doctors say her condition is improving.

A spokesman said: "Debbie is through the worst and is now in a stable condition," adding she is "expected to make a full recovery".
