Team Sky 'confident' investigation will find 'no wrongdoing'

Team Sky say they are confident that the UK Anti-Doping investigation into an allegation within cycling will find no wrongdoing.

The UKAD announcement follows the Daily Mail article reporting that Team Sky and Sir Bradley Wiggins are under investigation over the contents of a medical package.

It is alleged in the paper that a package was delivered to Team Sky in France on June 12, 2011, and it reports that UKAD is reviewing what was in it.

Wiggins and his representatives have received no notification from UKAD and believe the 36-year-old rider is not the subject of the investigation.

And Team Sky insists it is liaising with UKAD after launching an internal review.
