The final 12 acts have been chosen by X Factor judges for the live show rounds of the competition.

Three acts in each category - girls, boys, groups, and the over 25s - were selected after performing at the four judges' houses.

Simon Cowell will be mentoring the girls. The veteran music mogul was helped make his final decision by guest judges Mel B and Emma Bunton.

Emily Middlemas, Gifty Louise and Sam Lavery, were his choices, while former favourite Caitlyn Vanbeck failed to make the cut.

Former Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger is mentoring the boys and, with help from Calvin Harris, she chose Matt Terry, Freddy Parker and Ryan Lawrie.

Robbie Williams helped judge Sharon Osbourne chose from the over 25s - resulting in success for Relley C, Saara Aalto and rapper Honey G, who has divided opinion.

Louis Walsh took Alesha Dixon and Fleur East to Ibiza to help him whittle down his category.

They chose 5AM, Irish twins The Brooks and duo Bradley and Ottavio.

The X Factor live shows start on Saturday and Sunday at 8pm on ITV.
