X Factor: Sharon Osbourne and Louis Walsh must select final six contestants
X Factor judges Sharon Osbourne and Louis Walsh will play a tough game of musical chairs this evening as the Six Chair Challenge continues.
The most brutal stage of the competition is on its second night tonight and will see the pair narrow down their acts - the over-25s and the groups - to just six contestants each.
The challenge means those awarded a seat - with the prospect of going to the judges' houses stage - must anxiously wait as they may be replaced by a different singer or group.
Singers who have been awarded seats sit with their heads in their hands as they await judges' decisions while other acts perform for the chance to win a chair.
The episode sees a return of controversial rapper Honey G, 35, who sings Missy Elliott's WTF - and living doll Sada Vidoo, who performs Linkin Park's Numb.
Osbourne fills up her seats quickly and is forced to shuffle singers around including Melissa Pedro, Marianna Zappi, and James Craise, until she settles on her final six.
Wash dithers between groups, sending home Girl next Door, and bringing them back after chanting from the audience.
Three girl groups tussle for chairs with groups including boyband Yes Lad, Tom and Laura, and novelty duo Ottavio and Bradley.
After Walsh settles on his final six, Simon Cowell tells host Dermot O'Leary: "It was chaos, I thought it was bad two years ago but this was worse."
However, he is happy with his category, saying: "This category, I wasn't sure about it. But now this could be the best category."
