Marion Cotillard denies Brad Pitt affair rumours
Actress Marion Cotillard has denied having an affair with Brad Pitt - as she revealed she is pregnant with her second child.
The French Oscar-winner took to Instagram to speak out against the allegations after it was announced Pitt and Angelina Jolie were divorcing.
She wrote: "I am not used to commenting on things like this nor taking them seriously but as this situation is spiraling and affecting people I love, I have to speak up."
Reports claimed Pitt and Cotillard had an affair while filming upcoming WWII drama Allied.
The La Vie En Rose star continued: "This is going to be my first and only reaction to the whirlwind news that broke 24 hours ago and that I was swept up into.
"Firstly, many years ago, I met the man of my life, father of our son and of the baby we are expecting. He is my love, my best friend, the only one I need."
Hitting back at the affair rumours, she said: "To those who have indicated that I am devastated, I am very well thank you."
She ended the lengthy post with: "Finally, I do very much wish that Angelina and Brad, both of whom I deeply respect, will find peace in this tumultuous moment. With all my love Marion."
Cotillard already has a five-year-old son Marcel with French actor and director Guillaume Canet.
Jolie announced she was filing for divorce from Pitt in court papers on Tuesday after 10 years together.
The 40-year-old actress cited "irreconcilable differences" with the date of separation listed as September 15.
The couple have six children together - Maddox, 14, Pax, 11, Zahara, 10, Shiloh, nine and seven-year-old twins, Knox and Vivienne.
It has been reported Jolie was not happy with the way Pitt wanted to raise the children and she said to be seeking full custody.
