Police search for convicted killer who absconded from Lincolnshire prison
A convicted murderer has absconded from a prison in Lincolnshire.
Stuart Brownhill was being held at the North Sea Camp prison after being convicted in 1985.
Lincolnshire police said Brownhill, 59, was found to be absent during a roll-call at 5am on Friday at the prison near Boston.
Brownhill is described as 5ft 8in and bald, with a green right eye and a blue left eye.
Police said they believe he may be wearing a brown jacket and black boots.
Superintendent Paul Timmins of Lincolnshire police said: "I appeal directly to Stuart to get in touch with us.
"I also ask for anyone who knows where Stuart Brownhill is to call us."
The police are asking members of the public who have seen Brownhill not to approach him but to contact them immediately on 999.
Anyone with information on Brownhill's whereabouts is asked to call 101.
