Donald Trump issues 'overheated' attack on Hillary Clinton's health
Donald Trump has issued a jibe about Hillary Clinton's health for the first time since the Democratic presidential nominee was forced to leave a 9/11 memorial event following her pneumonia diagnosis.
Speaking in at a rally in an arena in Canton, Ohio, Trump said Clinton left the event in New York because she felt "overheated".
"You think this is easy?” Trump asked. "In this beautiful room that’s 122 degrees. It is hot, and it is always hot when I perform because the crowds are so big.
"The rooms were not designed for this kind of crowd. I don’t know, folks. You think Hillary Clinton would be able to stand up here and do this for an hour? I don’t know.”
In an apparently more conciliatory tone, the Republican presidential candidate went on to say: "Now she’s lying in bed, getting better and we want her better, we want her back on the trail, right?”
Trump's speech comes after he handed his medical report over to physician Dr Oz in a preview of a television programme which will air on Thursday
The physical examination included a review of the nervous system, head and neck, hormone levels, cardiovascular health, respiratory health, gastrointestinal health, bladder and prostate health, history of cancer and family medical history.
Audience members reported that Trump used to have high cholesterol, but was was treated with a Statin drug to bring it down to its current, healthy level.
Reports also suggested that the billionaire magnate has high levels of testosterone.
Trump has frequently questioned his Democratic rival's health and her ability to withstand the rigours of the US presidency.
Clinton, who is recuperating after apparently fainting on Sunday, recently released her own medical records, which showed that she is "healthy and fit to serve as president of the United States".
