Mo Farah 'humiliated' after being 'sent to back of queue boarding flight home'
Mo Farah was left "humiliated" and treated like a "piece of s***" by an airline attendant as he flew home from the Olympics, the runner's wife has claimed.
The four-time Olympic Gold medalist was allegedly forced to go to the back of the queue while boarding his flight home from Rio on 22 August.
An airline attendant even shouted at Farah and refused to acknowledge he had a business class ticket for the flight, his wife Tania told The Sunday Telegraph.
"This woman basically humiliated him until people came forward and said: ‘that’s Mo Farah, the Olympic champion’",Mrs Farah told the newspaper.
"She was mortified afterwards, but had basically yelled at him like he was a piece of s*** to get back into line".
She added: "He was the only black person and hadn’t done anything to warrant it".
Farah had been attempting to board a connection flight with his wife and four children from Atlanta, Georgia to their home in Portland, Oregon at the time.
A Delta Air Lines spokesperson told ITV News the company was investigating but refused to comment further.
