Woman 'forced' into prostitution must return to Latvia
A 37-year-old Latvian woman who claimed she was forced to work as a prostitute in England has lost her fight against extradition.
Olga Cackule said she was trafficked and took her battle to remain in the UK to the High Court.
Ms Cackule is wanted by Latvian authorities after being accused of stealing a gun from a drunken man in the eastern European country three years ago.
She claimed the man threatened her - and she arrived in England shortly after the incident.
Ms Cackule described living in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire and Birmingham and having been made to work as a prostitute.
And she said she would be at risk of being trafficked again if returned to Latvia.
But two judges ruled against her, saying that her claims against extradition lacked merit.
Ms Cackule will now have to return to Latvia.
