Driver survives after truck left dangling from tall bridge

The driver of this truck had a miraculous survival after his vehicle was left dangling precariously from a tall bridge.

Local media in Buenos Aires, Argentina, reported the driver lost control of the truck - loaded with rolls of paper - when he fell asleep.

The HGV then smashed through railings on one side of the bridge and appeared to be inches from falling off.

Neither the driver nor his passenger were injured in the incident.

The driver told local reporters he had no recollection of the accident or how he was rescued from the truck's cabin.

Traffic flow over the bridge was disrupted for several hours while workers attempted to remove the truck.
