Winger Wilfried Zaha asks to leave Crystal Palace to force Spurs move
Tottenham Hotspur have opened talks with Crystal Palace over Wilfried Zaha, after the winger asked to leave the club.
Former Manchester United winger Zaha started his career at Selhurst Park before returning to his boyhood club on a permanent deal in Ferbruary 2015.
Alan Pardew has refused to let the winger depart on his own terms, with Zaha keen to play in the Champions League.
Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino has been keen to acquire a winger over the summer and Zaha, 23, fits the bill for the type of player the Argentine wants.
Spurs are still in talks over Marseille's Georges-Kevin Nkoudou, which would see Clinton N'jie depart for the Stade Velodrome, potentially leaving Pochettino short of options.
