York City goalkeeper Scott Flinders has received a five-match ban and a fine after the Football Association found him guilty of racial abuse during a League Two match.

The incident, which Flinders denies, took place in last season's game with AFC Wimbledon on 19 March.

Flinders will now miss the next five York matches and will have to pay a £1250 fine.

The decision is subject to appeal.
