Volkswagen car gets an unusual lift from a Fiat 500
A driverless Volkswagen car performed an unlikely balancing act after coming to rest on top of a Fiat 500.
Motorists were shocked to find their car suspended between the Fiat's roof and a wall on Southpark Avenue in Glasgow's West End.
The Sunday spectacle occurred after the Volkswagen rolled backwards down a hill from a parked position, landing on top of the lower car.
Two police officers attended the unusual scene before a recovery vehicle arrived shortly after 6pm.
A police spokesman said: "Neither vehicle was occupied at the time and there were no injuries."
