Louisiana flooding dislodges caskets from graveyards and leaves eight dead

Caskets have been dislodged from graveyards in Louisiana in severe flooding which has left eight dead and damaged 40,000 homes.

The eerie sights were captured in Ascension Parish in the Baton Rouge district of Louisiana.

The flooding began on Friday when the southern part of the state saw up to two feet of rainfall in just 48 hours.

Many homes and businesses remain underwater and 30,000 rescues have been carried out.
