Fifteen dead and six missing as flash flooding hits Macedonian capital
Fifteen people have died and six are missing after flash floods hit the Macedonian capital of Skopje.
Cars were carried hundreds of meters into nearby fields, homes were flooded, and a large chunk of the ring road around the city was washed away in the storm.
Northern suburbs of the capital were particularly hard hit.
A police official said 22 people had been injured.
The rain had stopped on Sunday morning, but more was forecast for the evening.
