US woman stabbed to death in London named as Darlene Horton
The American woman stabbed to death in London's Russell Square has been named as Darlene Horton.
The 64-year-old was the wife of a university professor from Florida.
The couple were hours away from flying home to Tallahassee when she was attacked.
Florida State University said Ms Horton's husband - psychology scholar Richard Wagner - was teaching summer classes in the capital and she had accompanied him on the trip.
James Pitts, director of FSU International Programs, said Mr Wagner's students had left the programme for the summer and none were involved in the incident.
FSU President John Thrasher said: "There are no words to express our heartache over this terrible tragedy.
"We are shocked that such senseless violence has touched our own FSU family.
"We will do all we can to assist Professor Wagner and his loved ones, as well as his friends and colleagues in the Psychology department, as they mourn."
A 19-year-old Norwegian man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in custody.
Five other people were also injured during the incident.
A male British national, who suffered a stab wound to his stomach, remains in hospital where his condition is described as serious but stable.
The other victims have since been released.
They include an American man and an Australian man, who were both stabbed in the chest, and an Australian woman who suffered a stab wound to her back.
The fifth victim was an Israeli woman who was stabbed in the bicep.
Named as Yovel Lewkowski, she posted this picture of herself from her hospital bed.
