Real Stories: Team GB Paraclimber reaches new heights
Tonight on Real Stories, we meet the inspirational British paraclimber, Sianagh Gallagher, who has defied all odds to reach the top.
Sianagh was born ten weeks early with a number of complications, including collapsed lungs and only one arm. The doctors told her mother, Jade that she had a five per cent chance of survival.
Now, not only is Sianagh one of the youngest members of the GB Paraclimbing team, but she is also the captain. Her incredible talent has to be seen to be believed.
Sianagh’s love for climbing saw her winning competitions all over the UK and after six years her talent hadn’t gone unnoticed.
In the video below, watch Sianagh in training as she prepares for an international climbing event in Austria:
Tonight we follow Sianagh at an international event in Austria as she prepares for the World Climbing Championships in September. Tune in to Real Stories with Ranvir Singh at 7:30pm on ITV.
