Germany international Leroy Sane set to join Man City

Leroy Sane is one step closer to completing his move to Manchester City after travelling to England to complete deal.

His current club, Schalke, confirmed on Monday morning that the winger has been allowed to travel to Manchester where he will undergo a medical.

The German international has been left out of Schalke's latest pre-season game to take place in Austria this week.

Pep Guardiola is a long-term admirer of the young winger, who he hopes will provide added speed on the flanks this season.

It is believed City will have to pay around £31million in order to sign Sane.
