Investigation after man shoots at Pokémon Go players outside his house
An investigation has been launched in the US after a man fired several shots at two late-night Pokémon Go players near his house.
The mother of one of the teenagers called police in Florida after waking up on Saturday morning to find her car had a flat tyre and several bullet holes in the side and back.
Flagler County Sheriff's Office spokesman James Troiano said the homeowner had woken to noises outside his house at around 1.30am on Saturday morning.
He told authorities that he had spotted a car in the road in front of his house, so had armed himself with a handgun and approached the vehicle.
The two teens in the car sped away and the man fired several shot at them as they left.
The mother who called officers said they had been playing the smartphone game, which uses augmented reality to allow players to capture Pokémon in the 'real world'.
Mr Troiano said the investigation was ongoing.
