Husband of detained charity worker to mark 100th day of her detention
The husband of a charity worker detained in Iran is handing a letter to Downing Street to mark her 100th day in detention.
Richard Ratcliffe's British-Iranian wife, Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe, has been held in an Iranian prison for three months.
Iran's Revolutionary Guard had previously alleged Ms Zaghari-Ratcliffe had participated in the "design and implementation of cyber and media projects to cause the soft toppling of the Islamic Republic".
Mr Ratcliffe reacted with "shock and horror" to the allegations.
On Tuesday, he will be joined by his mother Barbara Ratcliffe and MP Tulip Siddiq in presenting a letter, addressed to David Cameron and Theresa May, to appeal for them to do all they can.
Mr Saddiq will also be asking a parliamentary question of Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond, as to what the Home Office is doing to secure her release.
Mr Hammond is hosting a meeting on Tuesday with representatives from the banking industry, the Governor of the Iranian central bank and US regulators. It is unclear whether they will discuss Ms Zaghari-Ratcliffe.
