Bay City Rollers' Stuart 'Woody' Wood says Bye Bye Baby after T in the Park performance
Stuart "Woody" Wood of the Bay City Rollers has said that the band's T In The Park performance will be his last with the group.
The Rollers guitarist, who enjoyed huge fame with the band in the 1970s before a successful comeback last year, announced the news before the band took to the stage at the event in Perthshire.
There have been rumours of a dispute between the veteran Scottish group, whose hits include Bye Bye Baby and Shang-A-Lang.
Wood took to his Facebook page to announce the news, and was inundated with messages of support from his fans:
One fan said: "Gutted Woody, seen you on first night at Barrowland, you were all amazing".
Another long-time fan said: "You have brought so much happiness to all of your long-standing Bay City Roller fans (I count myself as one of the many!!).
"Wishing you all the success & happiness in the world. Your music will ALWAYS hold a special place in my heart & memories."
The band said they were getting back together last Autumn after splitting in 1978 due to arguments over money.
The bitter feuds between the band and the managers lasted for decades.
