Iranian family found in the back of a lorry on the M25
A family of suspected migrants have been found in a lorry on the M25.
Two adults and three children were discovered by police officers called to the scene on Saturday.
Kent Police said that it received a report saying that a group of suspected migrants had been found in a lorry travelling on the motorway close to the exit for junction two, at around 1.30pm.
The Home Office confirmed that two adults and three children were arrested on suspicion of entering the UK illegally, and will face interviews by immigration officers.
The family, who are from Iran, have now made immigration applications and these will be considered in line with immigration rules.
