Turning unsettled from Tuesday

This Evening and Tonight:Showers in the north will become confined to northern and western Scotland overnight leaving much of the country dry with clear spells. It will turn fairly cool in rural areas.

Tuesday:After a bright start, rain will gradually push northeastwards across England and Wales with strong winds developing across southwestern coasts. Elsewhere, showers will become more frequent through the day.

Outlook:Unsettled and generally fairly cool through the period with showers or longer spells of rain, interspersed by drier and brighter interludes. It will often be windy, especially across southwestern coasts.
