Duke of Cambridge reveals he will appear in gay magazine Attitude

The Duke of Cambridge has revealed he is to feature in the next issue of the UK's leading gay magazine Attitude.

William mentioned his magazine debut during a visit to the American Embassy to sign a book of condolence for victims of Sunday's gay nightclub shooting in Orlando.

After signing a message, he and the Duchess of Cambridge spoke to staff who have worked on LGBT issues, which is when William let slip his forthcoming magazine appearance.

Mr Petty, who is president of LGBT association Glifaa, praised the royals for offering their public solidarity in the aftermath of the Florida massacre.

"I think it's great that they have come here today to show their support," he said.
