Charlie Sheen uses HIV positive status to promote safe sex campaign

Actor Charlie Sheen has been speaking about how his life has changed since he went public with his HIV positive status.

Speaking in a video for a new safe sex campaign, Sheen said he had "been guided to reach a different reality" since he revealed his health issue to the world.

Sheen added that it was his aim to turn something "so completely negative and life destructive" into positive change.

He is now backing a new condom called Lelo Hex in an effort to promote safe sex.

The Lelo Hex condom focuses on changing the structure of the latex, using hexagons in order to prevent breakage, reduce slippage and eliminate discomfort.
