Boxer Muhammad Ali's memory continued to live on in Africa on Friday as the nation mourned the passing of "one of their own".
As thousands of people around the world bid their final farewells to the sporting icon, those living in Kinshasa, where Ali won his famous 'rumble in the jungle' against George Foreman in 1974, spoke of their lingering memories of the man who inspired so many.
Video report by ITV News Correspondent John Ray.
One man, who witnessed the famous fight, described the moment that would enshrine Ali in the nation's heart's forever as he excitedly recounted how the audience had waited with bated breath for Foreman to get back up after Ali knocked him out with the punch that made sporting history.
While another local boxing champion told ITV's John Ray that Ali would always be one of Africa's own.
He said: "We believe Ali is African because we the black people were taken to America into slavery and the black Americans are our brothers."
