Man rescued after treading water at sea for 20 hours
A missing boater has been rescued by the US Coast Guard after more than 20 hours in water.
William Durden had to tread water all night after falling overboard when the vessel suddenly lurched forward.
Aircraft crew located Mr Durden in the water after spotting his boat nine hours earlier.
A rescue swimmer from the a Coast Guard helicopter jumped into the water to save him.
Coastguardsman Jacob Latour said: "My heart-rate jumped and I yelled 'mark, mark, mark', and I launched a flare for him.
