PM gave assured performance in first televised EU debate - and posed one memorable question
A generally hostile TV audience fired some awkward questions at David Cameron tonight.
But while Nigel Farage claimed he looked rattled, the consensus in the Sky spin room was that the Prime Minister performed well, his six years in the top job making for an assured performance.
He may not have had all the answers in his first set-piece TV encounter - and he looked weakest defending his record on immigration - but the PM posed one memorable question himself: "Are we quitters?"
The answer he hopes the public will conclude is, as a nation, we are not.
