Boycott calls for Johnny Depp's supergroup gig
Actor Johnny Depp is facing a backlash in Europe over claims he was physically abusive towards his wife Amber Heard.
The Pirates of the Caribbean star and his band the Hollywood Vampires are currently on a European tour, but a social media campaign called for a boycott of the group's gig in Stockholm, Sweden, on Monday night.
On Friday, the 52-year-old was ordered by a judge to stay at least 100 yards away from his estranged wife over claims he threw an iPhone at her on 21 May.
While Heard filed for divorce earlier this month, some people in Sweden began to register their support for the 30-year-old online under the hashtag #ImWithAmber.
Additionally, there were calls for a boycott of the Hollywood Vampires's gig in Stockholm.
"'Are you taking a stand against this, Gröna Lund?" one commenter asked on the arena's Facebook page, according to local media
"I hope that as many as possible do the right thing and boycott this".
The Hollywood Vampires is a super-group featuring Depp, Alice Cooper and Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry.
