One dead and several injured in lightning strikes across Europe
One man has been killed and dozens injured by lightning strikes across Europe.
A man in his 40s was killed in southern Poland when he was struck by lightning as he descended the Babia Gora mountain.
In Germany, 33 people including 29 children aged nine to 11 were injured when a bolt struck a pitch where a football game was being played in the western town of Hoppstädten.
