Heseltine: Boris Johnson's judgement 'seems to be going' over EU
Lord Heseltine has attacked Boris Johnson's remarks during the EU referendum campaign, saying he has lost his judgement and cannot take the "strain" of campaigning.
The former Conservative deputy prime minister told ITV News:
Lord Heseltine, who is campaigning for a Remain vote, also criticised Mr Johnson - who is backing Leave - over his comments about EU rules on bananas and "semi-racist remarks" about President Obama, suggesting that he cannot be taken seriously.
He said: "I mean, this guy is meant to be a serious politician talking about one of the biggest issues that's faced Britain in a generation.
"He's not standing up to the strain, his judgement seems to be going."
